SUSTAINABILITY MANAGEMENT PROGRAM

1.Energy Management

Our company has implemented a real-time energy monitoring system.

A real-time energy monitoring system enables visualization of energy usage, efficiency improvement, anomaly detection, consumption peak management, data-based decision-making, and report generation, optimizing energy consumption and reducing costs.

In addition, by improving the efficiency and optimizing energy usage, it is possible to reduce wasteful energy consumption and reduce CO2 emissions.

2.Energy-saving equipment

Switching to LED lights: We’re replacing old fluorescent lamps with magnetic ballasts to reduce energy consumption. LEDs offer a longer lifespan, produce less heat, and are mercury-free, making them a safer and more environmentally friendly choice. It also reduces electricity usage, resulting in less carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.

3. 6 Ways YTL Helps Reduce Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Costs

  1. Optimizing Temperature Settings

By reducing the power consumption of air conditioning in the printing plant, it is possible to improve energy efficiency. Maintaining a set temperature of 25 degrees can reduce the plant’s overall energy consumption, contributing to the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions.

  1. Schedule the office air conditioning system

The air conditioning system will be activated at the beginning of the workday, deactivated during the lunch break, and turned off at the end of the business day.

The above implementation is recorded and managed in the management table shown on the left.

  1. Regular Cleaning and Maintenance

Proactive Air Conditioning Maintenance: We ensure optimal performance and longevity of our air conditioning system through regular preventive maintenance and cleaning.

It also improves the air conditioner’s operating efficiency and air quality, reduces power consumption, resulting in savings on electricity bills and maintaining a healthy indoor environment.

  1. Utilization of Nature Light

By letting in natural light through skylights, the electricity needed for daytime lighting can be significantly reduced. This reduces the factory’s energy consumption and reduces the environmental impact.

In addition, less energy is needed for lighting and heating/cooling, which reduces energy consumption from fossil fuels, thereby contributing to reducing carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.

  1. Raising Employee Awareness

We are running a campaign to reduce energy usage:

Power Down, Save More

Turn Off, Unplug, Conserve

Keep Cool, Be Kind to the Planet: Set Your AC to 25°C

4. Environmentally Friendly

Mineral oil free

Our mineral oil-free ink is made from biodegradable materials, making it more environmentally friendly. It reduces pollution from production and waste disposal, and contains no hazardous chemicals like hydrocarbons that can contribute to air pollution or cause cancer. This creates a safer working environment and minimizes the environmental impact of our printing processes.

5. Corporate Social Responsibility: We actively participate in sustainability initiatives, implementing 2 projects from last year through this year annually

February 2023, we kicked off our CSR program by serving lunch and snacks to orphaned children at the Tham Takho Buddhasopha Foundation. This foundation is dedicated to supporting underprivileged and orphaned children at Wat Tham Takho in Lopburi Province.

March 2024: In our second year of the CSR initiatives, we provided solar-powered lighting, a nutritious lunch, and snacks to the students of Baan Klong 21 School in Chachoengsao Province.
