“Mangrove Reforestation, Soil Rehabilitation, and Natural Balance Restoration” CSR Project

On the occasion of World Soil Day, Yamagata (Thailand) Co., Ltd. organized a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity under the project “Mangrove Reforestation, Soil Rehabilitation, and Natural Balance Restoration” on December 4, 2025.

The event took place at the Mangrove Forest Resource Management Center in Khlong Khone, Samut Songkhram Province. Executives and employees participated in planting mangrove saplings (Rhizophora) and rehabilitating the mangrove forest area. This effort aims to help anchor the soil, reduce coastal erosion, enhance the fertility of the area, and sustainably create biodiversity for the coastal ecosystem.

This activity is part of the company’s commitment to operating its business alongside environmental stewardship, particularly the conservation of soil and forests, which are vital resources for life and food security. It also aims to encourage employees to recognize the value of natural resources and collectively restore balance to the world.

The project was inspired by the royal statement of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother:

“His Majesty the King is water; I shall be the forest, the forest that is loyal to the water. His Majesty the King builds reservoirs; I shall build forests.”
